# Your Funds on HoodShot

> HoodShot is non-custodial. There is no deposit or withdrawal: stakes leave your wallet per bet, and winnings return to it automatically.

HoodShot never holds your money. There is no deposit, no withdrawal, and no in-game balance. Your wallet's ETH is your bankroll.

## How money moves

* **Into a bet:** when you place a bet, the stake plus the 1% fee moves from your wallet to the game contract in that one transaction. Nothing moves before you approve it.
* **Back out:** when the bet settles, the payout goes straight to your wallet. Our keeper settles for you within seconds at no cost, or you can press **Collect** to settle instantly with your own gas. Either way the amount is identical.

There is nothing to withdraw because winnings are never parked in a house account. They land in your wallet as ETH.

## The one exception: claimable payouts

In rare cases the contract cannot push a payout directly (for example, if a direct transfer to your address would fail). It then **credits** the amount to you on-chain instead, and you claim it with one transaction. If you ever have a claimable balance, the app surfaces it. This is a safety net so a payout is never lost, not a routine step.

<Note>
  Because everything is on-chain, you can confirm any of this yourself on [Blockscout](https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com/address/0xB0d213833612E5557Ad68F4Dcc96d024B5B74Fb7): your stake leaving, the `Settled` event, and the payout arriving.
