# Funding Your Wallet for HoodShot

> HoodShot has no deposits. You bet native ETH straight from your wallet on Robinhood Chain, so funding means simply holding ETH there.

HoodShot has **no deposit step and no in-game balance**. Your stake goes from your wallet to the game contract at the moment you place a bet, and payouts come straight back to your wallet. Funding the experience means one thing: holding native ETH on Robinhood Chain.

    Bridge ETH to Robinhood Chain using the official Robinhood Chain bridge. Your wallet address is the same on every EVM network.

    Once connected, your live ETH balance shows in the top bar. That entire balance is available to bet, minus a small gas reserve.

## What a bet costs

For a stake of S, the transaction sends **S + 1%**: the protocol fee is charged on top of the stake, not taken out of it. The bet panel shows the fee before you confirm, and the **MAX** button already accounts for the fee and gas so a max bet never fails.

Gas on Robinhood Chain is negligible: a bet costs roughly 200k gas, which is a fraction of a cent at typical prices.
