HoodShot has no accounts, usernames, or passwords. Your wallet is your identity, and connecting it is the only login. The connect modal is powered by WalletConnect (Reown), so a wide range of wallets work out of the box.

What works

MetaMask, Rabby, and other extension wallets connect directly. This is the smoothest option on desktop.
Scan the QR code in the connect modal with any WalletConnect-compatible mobile wallet to pair your phone.
Use a Ledger or Trezor through MetaMask’s hardware flow: your keys stay on the device, and MetaMask relays the connection. Good for larger balances since you approve every bet on the device itself.

What your wallet needs

  • To be on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663). Your wallet will offer to add or switch networks when you connect.
  • To hold native ETH for stakes and gas.
HoodShot will never ask for your seed phrase, and never asks you to sign a message just to “verify” your wallet. The only signatures you make are bet transactions you start yourself. Anyone asking for a seed phrase is a scammer.
